Ami Jenick – Director
Ami founded and leads People Beyond Profit, bringing over two decades of executive search and recruitment experience. She has delivered complex searches, serving as a trusted advisor to foundations, social enterprises, charities and other purpose-led organisations operating at local, regional, national and international level. She has developed particular insight into the philanthropic/grant-making sector, building a strong understanding of their unique and diverse challenges and leadership required.
Ami proactively considers how values-based selection techniques can help provide insight and ensure mutual alignment between a candidate and an organisation, highlighting skills and experience whilst also importantly exploring their future potential. She has also partnered with clients to ensure the search process is diverse, inclusive and equitable, oftentimes thinking creatively and looking beyond the obvious for true talent. This has led to some extremely rewarding work with incredible and inspiring clients and candidates alike.
Ami is a Trustee of Working Chance, the UK's only employment charity solely for women with convictions.

Fiona Wansborough – Director
Fiona brings more than twenty years' experience in Executive Search, beginning her career as a Researcher in the private sector, before moving to work with not-for-profit organisations in the UK and globally.
Her track record spans diverse thematic areas including Climate, Oceanography, Conservation, Global Health, Nutrition, Disability, Education, and beyond. Fiona is highly experienced in executive and board-level appointments and thrives on the challenge of technical roles. She has led UK and international executive search processes for philanthropic foundations, social enterprises, International NGOs, and charities, including working client-side as in-house recruitment lead for a global Swiss-based foundation in Geneva.
Fiona brings lateral thinking to every process and works flexibly and collaboratively with clients, ensuring diversity, transparency, and rigour remain central pillars of each search. She has an MSc in International Human Resources and is CIPD qualified. Outside work, Fiona enjoys trail running and is currently training for her first London Marathon, in aid of Guide Dogs.

Jessica Stockford -Director, Associate
Jess is an independent governance and search consultant working as an adviser and critical friend to purpose led Boards. For almost a decade, she led a global non-executive search practice at Prospectus Ltd, building the Boards of purpose led organisations and social enterprises- including Crisis, Friends of the Earth, War Child and Global Witness – working closely with Boards to shape key appointments, succession planning and undertaking board and governance reviews, alongside frequent benchmarking, skills audits and staff and stakeholder consultation.
Prior to that, Jess ran governance capacity building programmes for the nonprofit sector at Business in the Community and leveraged commercial and ESG partnerships for arts and cultural organisations for clients such as Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Sky Arts and American Express.
Jess lectures on good governance practice for Goldsmiths, University of London and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and is a judge for the annual Charity Governance Awards, supported by the Clothworkers Foundation.
Jess is Co-Chair of Hackney CVS including Hackney Giving, a grant maker and Chair of the Tenants and Residents Association of her estate in East London – she is a member of the Housing Ombudsman Resident Board.

Antonia Byrne -Director, Byrne Creative
Toni leads on all our design and brand work for the wide range of clients we work with, helping us create engaging appointment briefs and marketing collateral for executive search and recruitment campaigns.
Toni is an experienced graphic designer with 20 years experience. She has a proven track record of working successfully across design and marketing for large trade brands, agencies and small businesses who want a fresh and unique approach. She has worked on high profile campaigns including those for Lord Alan Sugar, Dame Deborah Jones and Sir David Attenborough.
Her passion lies in bringing brands to life, delivering exceptional quality and stand-out creative solutions that capture the essence of a brand and connect with the target audience. With expertise that spans across print, digital, social media and web design, Toni is always developing her skillset and embracing new methodologies.

Elise Kanarek - Associate Researcher
Elise supports the People Beyond Profit team with proactive research, mapping and outreach into relevant talent pools across a wide range of industries.
Elise has over 25 years’ experience in recruitment and executive search specialising in executive and non-executive senior appointments in both the private, public and charity sectors. Elise has delivered searches across multiple functions in the UK, Europe, US and internationally, starting her career working as a recruitment and research consultant in investment banking before moving to global search firms working alongside clients such as Cadbury, British Gas, Carillion, ITN, Centrica and AA. She has worked as a Senior Researcher for search firms such as Odgers Berndtson and GatenbySanderson, consolidating her experience working across charity, public and education sectors with significant experience of search and selection for appointments.
